Welcome to Darlington Diving Club, where we offer structured, dynamic and fun itineraries for platform and springboard diving. Diving is an exciting sport which fuses together both the exhilaration of acrobatics with aquatics. Not only great for body strength but builds confidence, courage and flexibility.

The team here at Darlington is led by Head Coach Steve. Steve has been a volunteer coach and diver at DASC for 32 years. He brings a wealth of diving experience to the club having represented the club in World and European Masters not only once but five times – winning 3 silvers at Worlds; 3 Gold, 4 Silver and a bronze at Europeans, plus numerous gold awards at National Masters competitions. Steve has now retired from competitive diving and dedicates his time to the development of divers in the Darlington and surrounding areas. Being a level 2 qualified diving and trampoline coach, Steve has developed 10 national age group champions (some of which he has passed onto larger clubs to follow international careers with achievements as high as World Junior bronze and a European Gold on the high board in the 75-79 year age group) – showing your never to old to dive!
