With the Dolphin Centre main pool closure, we are pleased to let you know that the temporary programme has been agreed. Where possible, we have increased pool time at our other venues to keep weekly hours as high as possible for all squads during this time. The new training programme below will take effect from Tuesday 3rd January.

Well done to all swimmers who took part in the Club Gala on Tuesday 29th November. As always there were some great times achieved. As this gala was licenced the results are registered on individual swimmer records found here.

Josie Johnson from A2 squad attended the British Para Winter National swim meet last weekend (26th/27th November) at Tollcross Swimming centre Glasgow. Josie competed in 5 events and gained 4 PB’s; shaving 9 seconds off her 100m Freestyle time and 8 seconds off her 50m Backstroke.
Following last weekend Josie has also swam at the Club Gala (29th Nov) and shaved 2 secs off her 50m fly time (1:02.88).

Congratulations to Darlington divers Toby Archbold & Theo Johnson (Boys 12-13 years), Alexa Cooper (Girls 9 and under) and Evan Cooper (Boys 10-11 years) who won 3 gold and a Silver at the GBDF advanced level age group competition today in Cheltenham.
All divers performed exceptionally well. Alexa scored 8.5 for her final dive from the 5 metre with her other dives scoring 7’s. Evan scored 8’s for his last two dives from 5 metre and 6’s for his other dives. Toby Scored 8 for his 1 metre back dive with lots of 7’s on his other dives and Theo scored mostly 6’s for his dives winning silver behind Toby.
Down Syndrome Swimming GB (DSS GB) launched the British Down Syndrome Swimming Championships with the first event taking place at K2 in Crawley on 19-20 November 2022. It was open to all British swimmers with Down Syndrome.
DASC swimmer, Scarlett Jones, took part in the competition with great success, winning a medal on each stroke:
In addition her performance in the 100m Freestyle earned her an invitation to train with the Down Syndrome National team.
